Vancouver Day 4

Patricia, Carol and Su thank you both for your lovely comments. We do enjoy Vancouver very much. We were reminiscing about the city. We first visited here in the early 1990's two years in a row sailing Alaska. Like other cities throughout the world there has been changes as there have been to other areas.  Back then when we visited Alaska you might see one to two cruise ships in port compared to many more in several of the ports. Between overall population growth, more people traveling and more people relocating to other places or even other countries there has been many changes.

Today, we are enjoying our final full day in Vancouver before we board Crystal Serenity tomorrow. The weather continues to be a delight.  

Unlike the last two days with three cruise ships in port each day, today there was one ship in port. We welcomed Mickey Mouse at around 6:30 am.

Shortly after breakfast we took a morning walk. We first stopped by Canada Place just to check out where we will go tomorrow. From there, rather than walking along the water we took a different route. As mentioned, we enjoy cities as we find many of them to be active and vibrant with lots to see and do. ​

If we were 30 years younger maybe we would have gone ice skating.  Since it's been many years we thought it wise not to risk broken bones.  LOL.

After a short rest, lunch and some packing, we went on another walk in the afternoon.  We have enjoyed a great stay in Vancouver.  

​On our return back to the Hotel we ran into one guest who we have known for several years along with his lovely wife.

Tomorrow we return home to Crystal Serenity.
