Once again, we had a lovely dinner. We were taken care of by the outstanding Waterside Food and Beverage Team. We so very much appreciate their attention to detail, professionalism and warmth. The warmth always comes through along with caring and it shows throughout the ship. Unlike some places whether it is on another cruise line or at a hotel or restaurants on land the service is human coming from the heart rather than robotic. We prefer the former. As we do every evening we enjoy conversing with this wonderful team along with lots of laughs It was a formal night, and the food was in step of the evening. In case you wanted to know, the special butter was a new one. It was Red Beets and Shallots. Serenity touched down in Boston this morning, right on time at 7:00 AM! We went through a mandatory immigration since this is our first time in a USA port. We were assigned group numbers and those on tours in the morning were in the earlier groups along with those who were debarking early today. Although the cruise ends in New York City some guests left today either because they live in Boston or were staying over to visit friends and/or family. Our last adventure in Boston was back in September 2016, as our Northwest Passage Epic Voyage was wrapping up. Our love for American history is just one of the many reasons we're thrilled to be back in Boston. During our 2016 visit, we had an amazing time exploring the Freedom Trail on a self-guided tour. Later that morning, we were delighted to meet up with our friends Dave and Gary, who picked us up downtown. We will dine with them this evening at Waterside and are meeting them this morning to run a few errands. We last caught up with Dave and Gary earlier this year during the 2024 Holiday Cruise, and we're so excited they could join us again today! Over the next few weeks, we'll be returning to Boston for the final two cruises, and we've got an exciting tour lined up for the first visit. Can't wait! We included a video of Logan Airport as we were making our way to our docking position. Today's Daily Reflections. Your browser does not support viewing this document.
