We have always found Embarkation Day very special since our very first cruise. Today was no exception. We were driven from the Four Seasons Hotel by SUV via a private Crystal transfer from the Four Seasons Miami Hotel over to Port Everglades. This is the first time we have embarked in Port Everglades getting on a Crystal Cruises. However, we have embarked from this port in our earlier days of cruising. Embarkation went well and in no time, we were back on board and at home. Whether returning to Crystal Serenity or Crystal Symphony for us it means we are back home sailing on a vessels and a cruise line that has been home to us for the equivalent of several years and sailing with members of the crew some of which we have known since our early days of sailing with Crystal and sailing with many guests who we have also known for years. Inside the terminal we started to see our extended Crystal family and this continued as we made our way inside Serenity. Home again and photos with Senior Head Butler Rao. Lunch was in Waterside where we enjoyed our traditional lunch of Cobb Salad and a flute of Champagne and toasted our love to one another and to a joyous cruise. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Leo. Several members of the team stopped by to speak with us including Head Sommelier Jiri, Sommelier Ricardo and Head Waiter Peter. We saw several guests including Kate and her Mom, Dave and Nancy. Our Senior Waiter was Marcin who has taken care of us since the restart and we have known him for many years and our Waiter was Nitish. It is so nice to be back home with our Crystal extended family.
