We dined last evening with the SVP of Global Marketing & Sales Jacqueline Barney. We enjoyed great conversation and along with superb service and cuisine.

Today's Daily Reflections Program.

Today is our first port of call of this young cruise; San Juan, Puerto Rico. We visited here on our second cruise in the early 1990’s, and Keith visited a few years later on business.

When Keith was twelve years young my family went on our first cruise, and he remembers the stop in San Juan which involved getting a taxi to take us to and from a rain forest. On the way back the car had a flat tire and Keith remembers there was a bit of concern whether we would make it back to the ship before it sailed. Thankfully, it did.

Ship was cleared on schedule. We were docked in a perfect location and proceeded to walk around old down San Juan.

Ship was cleared precisely on schedule. We were docked in a perfect location and proceeded to walk around old down San Juan. There was one other ship at the port where its cruise was ending, and another one was starting. One other ship was in another port much further from the old town.

Keith went on a walk by himself, and Anne Marie walked on the ship. The area looks much nicer than when we were here on a cruise. However, we have to remember this was over 30 years ago. Ouch. Locals were out with dogs and cats with some going on runs. It was a very pleasant walk as it was still quite early so easy to navigate sidewalks, walkways and streets.
