Reykjavik, Iceland

​On this cruise with the weather, we don’t always see the Crystal towel on the lounge chair, but we did yesterday and today. 

Speaking of the weather we woke up to 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Good news is the high will be 50 degrees Fahrenheit compared to lows between tomorrow this Saturday all the way down to 34 with highs low to mid 40’s.

We enjoyed another wonderful meal which we decided to have in our suite.​ We began with appetizers and dinner was from the Waterside menu.

Switching gears, we wanted to mention that there is lots of artwork are on the walls around the ship.  This is a portion of the artwork on Decks 6 and & of Crystal Serenity which is primarily near the Lounge. There is more that is very challenging to photograph so I am only including ones that are didn’t reflect light. 

​I included the model of Crystal Harmony as to us the ship is a work of art. Also, for many of us this was the first Crystal ship we sailed so that is special as well.

This morning our voyage ended, and the next one starts today which will take us from Reykjavik, Iceland to Manhattan, New York City.
 
Several guests are staying on and one of the reasons is to avoid flights back to the United States and of course to keep enjoying Crystal Serenity.  
 
We wanted to say how much we have enjoyed all the towns, cities and countries since boarding Crystal Serenity on August 14. We have found the locals to be very friendly and helpful, the places safe, and so much natural beauty. Sometimes when cruise itineraries are published some will say they are not exciting or interesting, but we continue to find many itineraries that are very appealing to us and the ones on this trip fit the bill for sure. 

​For those arriving today they will check-in on the ship on deck 5.
