After a six week stint at home, we are very excited  to return to the Mediterranean for additional cruises on-board Crystal Serenity.

Think pasta, olives, vino, historical sites, and the beauty of the Mediterranean all wrapped into one special package because this itinerary features stops in Italy, Greece, Croatia, Turkey, Malta, France, Monaco, and Spain.

This itinerary has special meaning for us.

Our first time on Crystal Serenity was 2005 when she was just a toddler only two years young. We enjoyed our longest cruise at that time of twenty-four glorious days across two back-to-back cruises. 

We sailed some of the same ports as we will sail this time around. We had expected to visit Malta. However an unexpected issue with one of the pods meant we had to adjust our plans. Serenity couldn't sail at the required speeds to keep the itinerary on track, so Malta was the sacrificial lamb, well port and was removed from the itinerary. Despite this change we had an extraordinary time.

​At the time we were looking for something special to do for our thirty year wedding anniversary in 2007 and it was on this cruise that we booked the 2007 World Cruise which would turn out the be the first of ten World Cruises we've taken.
