Day 4 Miami

Another great day in Miami.  

We went wherever our feet and legs took us today.  This included a walk over to Brickell Key Island where the Mandarin Oriental is located along with several condominiums. It's always nice to walk around the island to enjoy views of the Port of Miami, the Bay and some yachts.  It was very peaceful.  

The Mandarin will be closing shop the middle of next year. The manmade beach was removed to make a spot for where they will market residences. The plan is to put up a residential building on open land, demolish the existing hotel and build a new one.  This will all take time.

We then walked around the city and enjoyed the weather. We encountered rain for about two minutes and found several trees to stand under and they kept us dry. We walked through a couple of parks. It was far less windy than the past couple of days.

As we passed this sign we thought if a crocodile should make its way onto the walkway we are in big trouble.  Headline, Crocodile Eats Two Tourists For Lunch. OMG.  LOL.

The afternoon included more walks.  We enjoy cities and believe it's nice to smell the roses. In other words, enjoy what you see and not feel compelled to run around so much that you don't enjoy each moment.

All of a sudden the winds picked up and Keith iWatch gave off an alert for high noise. You are not kidding. LOL.
