WELCOME

After arriving home from Crystal Serenity sailing Alaska and a portion of the Northwest Coast, we now  head to Europe for two back-to-back Cruises on Crystal Symphony.  

We last sailed Symphony in May of 2018.  It was amazing.

We enjoyed Symphony so much we booked a cruise for the Fall of 2019 but had to cancel the cruise due to surgery for Anne Marie.  We were to return to Symphony in 2020 to visit some of the ports on this cruise including Liverpool. Unfortunately, that cruise was cancelled due to the Pandemic.

We begin this adventure in Reykjavik, Iceland. We enjoyed time in this city before boarding the former Crystal Endeavor in August of 2021 to circumnavigate Iceland.

We were attracted to the first cruise so we could revisit Liverpool. Aside from the Symphony cancellation, we booked a similar cruise for 2022 on Crystal Serenity but that cruise was cancelled due to Crystal's former parent going belly-up. There is a saying the third time is a charm and we hope this applies to this cruise.

We added the second cruise because if includes visits to Amsterdam and Belgium which are new for us.  This voyage also includes two overnights in Rouen, France. Our only previous visit to Rouen was in 2003 on our first sailing of Crystal Symphony.  We took a one day tour of Normandy. We wanted to revisit Normandy for a second time to show our respect to the brave men and women who fought that day and throughout the war. This year the world commemorates the 80th Anniversary of D-Day.

We are excited to return to Crystal Symphony, to sail this itinerary, and to create memories to last a lifetime.
