After we posted the two of us went for along walk once Anne Marie finished packing. Keith took Anne Marie on the same walk he did earlier over to the Polynesian Village Resort. We've never stayed there but did go to a Luau at the resort on our first visit to Disney World. It was a nice walk. We stopped at the pool as we left the resort and when we returned to watch the Grandchildren swimming in the pool and to speak with Eric and Jennifer. We began last evening with dinner. The two of us dined with Thomas Mazloum and his lovely wife Lori. We have known Thomas and his wife for along time. Thomas was with Crystal Cruises for many years and served in several executive positions. Before he departed Crystal he was Chief Operating Officer for Crystal Cruises. He moved to Disney World close to three years ago and is Senior Vice President responsible for all of the Disney World Resorts, and their dining venue, transportation operations, sports complexes, college program and several other areas. This is an enormous position. Dinner was wonderful as was the conversation. We dined for three and one-half hours. It was wonderful to catch up with Thomas and Lori. Dinner was on the floor of the hotel overlooking the beautiful lobby area. The view includes a beautiful Christmas Tree and an amazing Ginger Bread House. We hadn't realized that the Ginger Bread House is made from actual ginger bread and other food items. It is all put into place in one evening. It truly takes a team effort and has been a tradition for this hotel at holiday time for many years. Today is our last full day at Walt Disney World. We chose to spend additional time at the Magic Kingdom. If we were on our own we would have gone to Epcot by now but we planned where to go with the grandchildren in mind. We are happy to have everyone together and this is what counts the most. We were up early in spite of a late night and enjoyed breakfast at the Club Lounge. We took the monorail over to the Magic Kingdom. As expected the park was busy because of the terrific weather. Today was the warmest day since our arrival with a high of 85 degrees Fahrenheit. With showers in the forecast for tomorrow we suspect some people rearranged their plans to visit Disney World today if they were coming from an off-site hotel or live locally. We arrived to the park first followed by Eric and family and Jennifer and family. We first went on the Speedway followed by Dumbo. This time with it only being two of us we went on the original Dumbo which seats to people whereas the other day we went on the newer of the Dumbo rides which seated four people in two rows. We went on Mad Tea Party with Eric and family with Keith going with Eric and Jackson since they wanted to spin as fast as they could. Next all of us went on Magic Carpets of Aladdin followed by the Enchanted Tiki Room. Anne Marie, Kara and Preston did the Country Bear Jamboree while everyone else went to Splash Mountain. While in line Jackson got scared so Keith offered to go with him and wait for everyone. Jackson was very happy. All of us went to Under The Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid. We all enjoyed lunch together and Nana and Grandad returned to the hotel while the rest of the family stayed in the park. As we were leaving the park we watched the Disney Parade with many of the Disney Characters we have come to know. We took one of the boats back to the Hotel. In the late afternoon we took another walk over to the Polynesian Hotel and on our return stopped over to the Club Lounge for some wine and we toasted a wonderful family stay at Disney World. Keith is going to go back with our son Eric for a drink before dinner. Cheers,
Anne Marie & Keith
