Welcome to our latest blog.

We are excited to return to Crystal Serenity for two back-to-back cruises. The first cruise sails Alaska starting and ending in Vancouver. This is followed by a second cruise starting in Vancouver and ending in Los Angeles.

We first visited Alaska in 1997 and 1998 on two different Celebrity Cruises.  Since then, we have sailed Alaska several times.

​We have so many wonderful memories of Alaska. Our first cruise with Crystal was on-board Crystal Harmony sailing Alaska R/T San Francisco in July of 2002. We celebrated on this cruise with our family a major Wedding Anniversary milestone.  Since then, we sailed Alaska on Crystal Symphony also R/T San Francisco and multiple times on Serenity This includes our last Alaska cruise in 2016 as part of back-to-back cruises which included the transit of the Northwest Passage.

A little over one year ago we were on the inaugural sailing of Crystal Serenity as part of new Crystal. The video which follows was filmed on the shakedown cruise in July of 2023 and on the July 31, 2023 inaugural cruise which was the first of two cruises we took when Crystal reemerged.

When the adventure begins we plan to Blog each day.
