G'DAY FROM SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA We enjoyed another fun time with the family yesterday. We woke up early so we could spend a full day with the family. After showering we enjoyed breakfast in the Club Room. We arrive when they open which is a quiet time at the room. Fast forward to the evening when we stop by for a glass of wine and almost every table is full of people. There is so much food available in the evening that it is easy for some people to make it a dinner. While eating breakfast we enjoyed beautiful views of Circular Quay. The Seabourn Encore was in port. We took Uber back out to the families place. We were told by one driver that there are as many drivers for Uber in Sydney as there are in London. We don't know whether or not this is true but his point was that there are too many drivers. He said Lyft does not have a presence in Sydney but there are a couple of other outfits there. Since we are here during the weekday with the children in school the day evolves around them which is fine with us as it give us time with them and the entire family and in between appointments quite time with our daughter Jennifer. We spent time with Andre and Emma before they had breakfast. Emma was off from school as she goes to pre-school three days a week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Jennifer has Emma in a once a week tutoring class which begins at 9:00 AM which is when Andre's school begins. We dropped Andre off earlier than usual allowing time to get Emma to her tutoring. His school day is from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Anne Marie experienced some lower back pain yesterday which worsened this morning. We think some type of pinched nerve. After dropping Emma off at tutoring we returned home and dropped Anne Marie off so she could applying a heating pad to her back and rest. Jennifer and Keith went out and hiked on a path which provided beautiful views of the Harbour including the area here the Zoo is located and of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. We enjoyed terrific Dad/Daughter talk. He is in Kentucky on business. We picked Emma up at the tutor. She had a great time and learned numbers and letters. Andre went to her for a few months last year. We had a terrific lunch which Jennifer prepared for us. We also spoke with our son, Eric, on a video call via WhatsApp. We played Uno and the girls played a hand game Jennifer learned years ago in Music Class. Grandad played air hockey with Emma. Jennifer needed to take Emma to the doctor for them to look at her stitches and possibly remove them and later pick Andre up at school. As it turns out she will have to return on Saturday to have the stitches removed. Since Anne Marie was in some pain we decided to go back to the hotel so she could relax and not have dinner with the family this evening. We will see them all on Friday. Jennifer, Andre and Emma will meet us at the hotel and we will make our way to St Ive Steps Wharf which is near the Sydney Harbour Autograph Hotel where we will take a charted tender which will run every twenty minutes to/from where Serenity will be anchored. Gui will meet us on-board. We will all have dinner on-board together. When we got to the hotel, Keithwent out on a 90-minute walk. Keith walked from the hotel to Circular Quay, over to the Opera House, up to the Botanical Gardnes, over to where the Seabourn Encore ship is docked, then over to St. Ive Stairs where we will meet the vessels that Crystal has chartered for Friday. I also walked by several of the floats for the Chinese New Year. Anne Marie rested at the Hotel and she was able to apply a heat to the area that hurt. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel.
Cheers.
