G'DAY FROM SYDNEY & CRYSTAL SERENITY Thank you Sophie for the good wishes for Anne Marie. Gilly...Thank you so much. We agree with all you said. Carol....Thank you for your nice comments about the family and good wishes for Anne Marie. Yesterday, we enjoyed our final time at the Shangri- La Hotel. As we mentioned we like the location of the hotel including proximity to Circular Quay and other nearby attractions and amenities of the hotel. We had breakfast at the Club Lounge. There was a Carnival Ship in port. While Anne Marie rested at the hotel, Keith walked to Darling Harbour. We have not visited this area before. Keith walked all around the area and on his way back to where he started he walked the pedestrian bridge. Many of the dinner ships leave out of the Harbour and there were several tourist attractions along with restaurants all around the area. We enjoyed lunch at the hotel before Jennifer, Andre & Emma met us at the hotel. We all went up to the Club Lounge where the grandchildren had a snack, we checked out and waited to go downstairs. We saw Serenity arrive to the Harbour. We took a Taxi van from the hotel to the St. Ives Steps Wharf. We arrived at 2:25 PM. We were fortunate that the first tender ran at 2:30 PM taking the crew who boarded in Sydney over to Serenity and they said we could come on-board. Originally we planned to take the first tender at 3:00 PM. It was great to return home to Serenity. We introduced the family to members of the crew on the ferry and to a couple of guests we know as we boarded Serenity. We got settled in the room and Keith contacted friend Bob. Thankfully dear friends Bob and Glo were still on-board so we met them in the lobby area so that they could visit with Jennifer, Andre and Emma. We chatted for awhile. Anne Marie took the family to The Bistro and The Trident Grill for snacks before we got ready for dinner. These are the menus from Waterside and Prego. We dined at Prego. We mentioned night before the last cruise ended that the Prego menu was being updated with a few new items added and a few items removed. They added three new appetizers, a couple of other items and at least two new entrees. Between the four adults we tried two new appetizers (Seared Tuna Crudo and the Chilled Seafood Salad) and the new seafood entrée which is the Pan Fried Fresh Barramundi. We've included some photos from the evening. The first photo is the new Tuna Appetizer, followed by Caesar Salad and the new Seafood item. Photos nine, ten, and eleven were from the Crystal Cove when we had pre-dinner drinks with the family. This was a perfect day to have the family on-board Serenity as we celebrated Jennifer's birthday, including dinner at Prego and a Birthday Cake for her. We took the children around to meet many people on board including members of Team Serenity and fellow guests and friends before, during and after dinner. After dinner we collected the items the family brought on-board and took them to the tender area and waited with them until the ferry arrived. We slept well last evening while anchored off Sydney and began the morning as we always do. Keith was up early and got in a nice workout at the Fitness Center. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast in the room. Following is the Reflections Daily Program from today and the one from the first day of this segment on Embarkation Day. While we were away from Serenity we each received World Cruise gifts which were left in our room for us. We met the family for one final time in Sydney after Emma had her stitches removed at the doctors office. We walked around Circular Quay and over to the Botanical Gardens. We had lunch at a crepe restaurant which we had dinner at last year with the family. We will post about the rest of the day tomorrow.
Cheers, Anne Marie & Keith

Looks like you had a lovely time with your family. I love the tie on your grandson. And Emma is a real mini Anne Marie. So fun for all your shipboard friends to meet you family!

Your family is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your adventures in Sydney with us. I know how hard it is to be far from children and grandchildren and mine are only in Louisville, a quick 4-5 hour drive. So thanks for sharing your time with them.
