Some of you have asked if you can sign up to get e-mails when the Blog has updated. We used to be able to do this but there is some issue preventing this. We update the Blog daily so please check for the daily updates. We enjoyed breakfast in our room before we enjoyed our final full day in Miami. Keith went out for a walk/run before and by the time he returned Anne Marie was ready for our walk. We retraced a portion of our steps as we walked from the hotel over to the Intercontinental Hotel. It was a little cooler than the day before. We had one delay with the draw bridge open for a vessel to come through. From the Intercontinental we headed towards the Port Of Miami passing a memorial.. Anne Marie was feeling a little weak so we decided she would go to Bayside. Bayside has lots of restaurants and stores and there are plenty of places to sit. She got some apple juice and sat down. Before she got there Keith could see her and she thought she saw Serenity and she was right. Keith made his way to the bridge and walked on the pedestrian side which is where several ships were docked. Often Serenity would dock at Terminal J on the other side of the bridge. The terminal can accommodate only one ship and they take the smaller of the ones who don't dock here regularly and this time it went to Oceania. As Keith was halfway across the bridge he stopped to take a couple of photos of Serenity. Once across the bridge he made his way to the terminals first passing on of the MSC cruise ships before arriving to Terminal G where Serenity was docked. By this time many disembarking guests were off Serenity waiting for transportation to take them to a hotel or airport or even home. Keith met up with Anne Marie at Bayside. Probably a sign of the times while she was waiting for Keith she noticed that the Gap, Children's Gap and Baby Gap stores were closing. We visited all of them and the lucky winner was Keith who got two pairs of blue jeans for 70% off. LOL. Usually Anne Marie is the winner. We stopped at Whole Foods before arriving back to the Hotel where we had lunch and Anne Marie rested. Anne Marie packed while Keith went out for another walk/run He went to Brickell Centre which opened in 2016. It is a large complex of lots of stores and restaurants and one hotel. They removed a building from an adjacent area so Keith discovered there is a Jewish Center nearby. Weather was great. Weather was terrific.
We've had a wonderful stay in Florida between Disney World and Miami. Life is good. Cheers, Anne Marie & Keith
